NILES — Is was a busy weekend as teams took advantage of improved weather conditions, especially on Saturday.
Niles and Brandywine both won their own tennis tournaments, while in Dowagiac, Buchanan swept the Chieftains in baseball to win the Bryan Frazier Memorial on Saturday.
In Friday night action, Dowagiac swept Allegan in softball to run its winning streak to six games.
The Niles soccer team was shutout by St. Joseph in SMAC West Division play.
