Jonathan Fesler, 64, of Buchanan, first of his name, King of the Chicken haulers, decorated veteran and protector of the right to party has passed away after a long battle with Chronic Lymphoma Leukemia. If he were here, I’m sure he would say “well isn’t this a fine pickle I’ve gotten myself into.”
Jon passed peacefully on a Monday morning surrounded by his friends and family. Jonathan lived a great life and will be missed by all who knew him. Jonathan loved sports, music and exercise.
He is survived by his daughter Jonney-Miranda Barger, 3 grandchildren Adrien Barger, Riley Barger and Olivia Merkling, his niece Miranda Rice, Kimberly Ellis, a nephew Terrell Fesler as well as countless others.
Jon is also survived by one sister, Ann Fesler. Slumber well in Valhalla Jonathan, you have already conquered this world.
Services will be at 11:11a.m. Saturday May 4, at Allred’s Funeral Home, Berrien Springs, MI with a dinner to follow at the American Legion Post in Buchanan.
