NILES — The Niles District Library is challenging youth to read 1,000 books. As the children reach milestones, the library will recognize their accomplishments. Today, the library recognizes Brayln Koning, Elijah Mwenya and Owen Branson for reading 100 books. Harvey Shangel was recognized for reading 700 books.
