NILES — Brandywine senior Nicole Sachman will continue her academic and athletic career at Lakeland University in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Sachman is a three-sport standout for the Bobcats.

In basketball, Sachman has helped Brandywine’s record-setting team win district championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She also helped the Bobcats win the Division 3 regional championship last month.

Sachman was an All-BCS Red Division selection in both 2017 and 2018. This year’s squad has not been announced.

She was named honorable mention Class C All-State last year.

Besides basketball, Sachman is a standout on the Brandywine volleyball and softball teams.

Academically, Sachman is a member of the National Honor Society, French National Society and student senate.

Lakeland is a member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The women’s basketball team finished third this past season.

Sachman is going to major in forensic science at Lakeland.
