Gallery: Brandywine holds on against Niles

NILES — Visiting Brandywine had to hold off a seventh-inning rally to edged Niles 6-5 Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats took a 6-4 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but Niles rallied to score a run and had the bases loaded when Ty Mickiewicz was able to record the final out.

Brandywine improved to 2-0 on the season, while the Vikings dropped to 0-1.

Both teams are now off until after spring break.
