Kitchen help for lunches

Salvation Army Niles Corps is looking for volunteers to assist with all aspects of preparing, serving and clean-up for the ‘Lunch Brunch’ community meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The volunteer will assist with the set-up of tables and chairs as needed. The volunteer will assist in the preparation, serving and clean-up following the meal. Preparation will include, but not be limited to, prepping silverware, napkins, condiments, desserts, etc., as may be needed.

Fernwood education center docent

Fernwood is looking for friendly and excited volunteers to greet visitors at the front desk and help navigate the building and library collection in the new Sims Education Center. Training is provided. All volunteers are subject to an application and background check process in this role.

Gallery greeters at Krasl Art Center

The Krasl Art Center has an exhibit in the Gallery that needs some extra attention. Greeters are the first people that guests will see as they enter through the Krasl Gallery doors. Volunteer greeters are welcome to bring a small, quiet activity with them for the quiet periods in the Gallery. More details at volunteer.uwsm.org.

Medical transcriptionist needed

Caring Circle is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer who can attend inter-disciplinary team meetings with Hospice staff and type real-time notes on the group’s discussions directly into our Electronic Medical Record software. This opportunity would be great for a student interested in gaining experience in the medical office field, or for someone retired from a similar field, said officials. Therapeutic Equestrian Center seeking volunteers

Therapeutic Equestrian Center volunteers come from diverse backgrounds with an array of talent and skills. Those who working with horses could put thier passion to use as a horse leader or sidewalker during therapeutic riding lessons. Previous experience is not necessary, and TEC will offer a training.
