John Spicher, 62, of Niles, passed away on, Thursday, March 21, 2019, at his home.

John was born Sept. 18, 1956, in Paw Paw, to Elmer Spicher and Shirley (Burns) Criffield. He attended Paw Paw High School. John loved to sing and was known for his good sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time in Russ Forrest with his grandchildren searching for crawdads. Most of all his loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
John is survived by his daughters, Sherri (Keith) Alm and Amy (Ryan Ahonen) Thompson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Renee) Spincher and Marie Mitchell; step-mother, Betty Spicher; step-siblings, Terri (Jerry) Vanzandt, Sandy (Dave) Kytta and John Criffield; brother-in-law, Bill Walters; aunt, Hazel Rochon and numerous, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher John Spicher; brother, Tom Spicher; step-sister, Bonita Walters; and step-father, Gerald Criffield.
