Mayor Nick Shelton and his wife, Allison Hayes, are the proud parents of a new baby boy, Rock Nels-Michael Shelton, born at 5:50 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Rock (Rocky) is 7 pounds, 5 ounces and 20 inches long.

Rocky has one sister, Emery Freeze.

His maternal grandparents are Rich and Debbie Hayes, of South Bend.

His paternal grandparents are Mike and Kathleen Shelton, of Niles.

Paternal great-grandparents are Jim and the late Betty Shelton, and the late Bill and Joan Straw.

Maternal great-grandparents are Calvin and Marge Percy, and the late Rich and Hazel Rice. (Submitted photo)
