Joan M. Page, 80, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at The Timbers of Cass County.

A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Kurt Reich officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Joan was born on July 9, 1938, to Robert and Eleanor (Erickson) Schlitter, in Chicago. She graduated from Dowagiac High School.

On March 25, 1961, Joan married Ronald Page at the First Christian Church, in Dowagiac. Joan enjoyed collecting dolls, completing word puzzles, embroidery and baking her famous potato chip cookies. She was also a member of the First Christian Church, 4H leader and Boy Scout troop leader. Most of all, Joan loved to spend her time with her family, especially with her two sons who she cherished, Rodney and Kevin.

Joan is survived by her son Rodney Page, of Dowagiac; brother James Schlitter, of Lakeland, Florida; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie (Alan) Palmer, of Dowagiac and Sally (Michael) Krager, of Dowagiac; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eleanor Schlitter; husband Ronald Page; son Kevin Page; and brothers, Richard Schlitter and Robert Schlitter.
