DOWAGIAC — Friday morning, Dowagiac Middle School students gathered in the gymnasium to close their spirit week with relay games, shouting contests and school colors. Friday’s spirit theme was school colors, but each day of the week had a different theme. Monday was “twin day” for students to dress like another student, Tuesday was “summertime day” to dress in tropical clothes, Wednesday was “sportswear day” for favorite sports team clothing, and Thursday was “Valentine color day.” (Leader photos/ADAM DROSCHA)
