Jeffrey Breland, 59, passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at his home in Buchanan.

He was born April 18, 1959, in Niles, to Ollie Budge Breland Jr. and Mary Breland. Jeffrey loved his dogs, fishing and hunting, and riding his motorcycle.

He obtained an associate’s degree in architectural design which gifted him the opportunity to create architectural designs for Palais Royale, The Morris Performing Arts Center, and Notre Dame. He also designed kitchens for Lowes and worked in landscape design.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Jacob Breland; his long-time companion, Eryn Moore; sister, Catherine Lockwitz; and grandchildren, John Breland, Bailey Breland, Ophelia Breland and Angus Breland.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be at noon on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
