Trenton Lee Newton, 24, of Cassopolis, died in a weather-related accident Monday evening, Jan. 28, 2019, in Cassopolis.

He was born Nov. 16, 1994, in Berrien Springs, the youngest of five children born to Timmy and Glenna Newton.

Trenton loved his family. He enjoyed playing his video games and hanging out with his friends. He was quiet and kept to himself but was not afraid to speak his mind.

Trenton will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Timmy and Glenna Newton, of Cassopolis; one son; one brother, Christopher (Lacey) Newton, of Cassopolis; sisters, Veronica (Robert) Wallace, of Dowagiac, Kristina (Brandon) Compton, of Decatur, Danielle (Justin) Kasper, of Elkhart, and maternal grandparents, Harold and Marcella Peterson; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Trenton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Marie Newton and two nephews, Hunter and Gabriel Wallace.

Family and friends will gather from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis.

Mr. Newton will be laid to rest in Dailey Cemetery. The family prefers contributions in Trenton’s memory be made to Kalamazoo Autism Society, 814 South Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49008.
