Vickie L. Riggs (nee Hunsberger), 61, of Dowagiac, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A celebration of life gathering will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Dowagiac VFW, 472 E Division St., Dowagiac.

Vickie was born on May 6, 1957, to the late Jerry Sr. and Shirley (Younger) Hunsberger. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1975. Vickie was an avid University of Michigan fan and loved shopping and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends playing bags and going on road trips.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Vickie was the loving mother of Joshua (Rachel) Jurgenson, Miranda (Johnny Morrow) Green, and her four-legged son Gizmo; cherished grandmother of Savannah Jurgenson, Brendan Green, and Leighton Solomon; beloved sister of Jerry Hunsberger Jr., Cathy Hunsberger, Debra Hunsberger, and Pamela Rank; fond aunt of seven nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Billy, and her parents.
