The visiting Panthers led 13-11 after one quarter, but the Bobcats rallied in the second quarter to take a 24-19 lead into halftime.

Brandywine outscored Parchment 55-27 in the second half to pull away to the easy victory.

The Bobcats were led by Jordan Abrams’ game-high 26 points, while Jaelen Briggs added 13. Derrick Miller and Jaden Croom each finished with seven points.

The Bobcats head to New Buffalo for a non-divisional BCS contest. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Niles basketball

Visiting Lakeshore showed no mercy in blowing out the Niles basketball team Friday night.

The Vikings trailed 24-2 after one quarter and 37-7 by halftime.

Most of the second half was played under the running clock.

Freshman Ray Patterson led Niles with eight points. He was one of just four Niles players to score.
