Photo story: Dowagiac District Library introduces Pizza and Puzzles for teenagers

DOWAGIAC — Thursday, teens in the greater Dowagiac area poured over tables full of puzzles pieces, attempting to piece them together as part of a new reoccurring activity at the Dowagiac District Library.
The Dowagiac District Library has added a new monthly event for teens in the area. Thursday, Jan. 3, the library hosted its first official Puzzles and Pizza night for local teens. For the event, children aged 12 to 17 work together in teams of four to complete a 500-piece puzzle. Going forward, Puzzles and Pizza will be a reoccurring event hosted from 4 to 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month.
