Marjorie Eileen Cole, 92, of Berrien Springs, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at her home. She was a member of Pioneer Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Born April 16, 1926, to Carroll and Edna (Kroon) Danielson, Marge grew up in Prentice, Wisconsin, graduating from Prentice School. She subsequently attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, remaining in the area for most of the rest of her life.

On June 13, 1955, she married Wendell J. Cole, and they had three children. Marge taught first and second grade at Brandywine Elementary Schools for 22 years, and in her spare time, she volunteered at Fernwood Botanical Gardens and enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years; her three children, Dr. Daniel (Cristine) Cole, of Santa Monica, California; Wendy (Matthew) Fivash, of Niles, and Donald (Linda) Cole, of Buchanan; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her brother, Kenneth Danielson, of Prentice, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Edna Danielson; two sisters, Dorothy Larsen, and Lorraine Anderson; and a sister-in-law.

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at Heritage Chapel & Cremation Services, located at 8747 Old 31, Berrien Springs, MI 49103.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. also at the funeral home.
