NILES — Niles senior Alexa Vota recently signed a national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Butler University in Indianapolis. Vota will be a member of the Bulldogs’ swimming team.

She is a four-year letter winner on the Bridgman Co-Op and Niles Community Schools swim team. She was a state-qualifier the past three seasons. She plans on majoring in criminal psychology at Butler.
