Sept. 29, 1947 — Dec. 24, 2018

Raymond L. Kozelka, 71, of Elkhart, passed away at 1:42 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, in Elkhart General Hospital.

Ray was born on Sept. 29, 1947, in Niles, to the late Kenneth K. and Stella M. (Stasiak) Kozelka. On Sept. 1, 1979, in Salida, California, Ray married Charlett A. (Henry).

She survives along with sons, David (Ana) Carter and Scott Kozelka; grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua and Jason Carter; great-grandchild, David Carter; sister, Patricia (Larry) Hunsberger; nieces, Deborah Buckles, and Donna (Mark) Love; Aunt Beverly Stasiak; and many cousins and friends.

Ray was a 1966 graduate of Niles High School and was an Insurance agent for Farmers Insurance. Ray was an avid Notre Dame Football fan.

Funeral Services for Ray will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Niles, MI 49120, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.

Pastor Don Rohrer will officiate the service. Cremation will take place with burial in Silverbrook Cemetery at a later date.

Following the Funeral Service all are invited to watch the Notre Dame Game at Pizo and Foz Urban Pizza Kitchen 4100 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, IN 46514.
