Genevieve F. Ross, 96, of Buchanan, passed away on Dec. 19, 2018, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles.
She was born June 19, 1922, in Manistee, Michigan, to the late John and Irene Wittleiff.

On Nov. 8, 1942, she married Roy Ross at a ceremony in Reno, Nevada.
Genevieve is survived by her brother, Leonard Wittleiff, of Manistee, Michigan; granddaughter, Nikki (Dennis) Wyatt; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Wyatt, and Dominic Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene; husband, Roy; daughter, Kay Penland; brothers, Phillip Wittleiff, Clemens Wittleiff, Claude Wittleiff; and sister, Leona Marzinski.
Funeral service for Genevieve will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 212 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI 49107, with Pastor Daniel Barz officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home Inc., Buchanan.
