Dolores M. Krueger, 80, of Dowagiac, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 210 N. Front St., Dowagiac, MI, 49047, with Father John Tran officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac.

Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, prayer service beginning at 7 p.m., at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.

Dolores was born on Sept. 20, 1938, in Chicago, to Joseph and Josephine (Rogala) Sarna. She graduated from Maria High School in 1957 and continued her education by attending beauty school.

On Sept. 5, 1959, Dolores married the love of her life, Robert, in Chicago; the two were happily married for 39 years before his passing in 1998.

She was a proud member of Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church and she enjoyed playing golf. Dolores loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her children, Robert (Debra) Krueger, of Carol Stream, Illinois, David (Debra) Krueger, of Dowagiac, Linda (Paul) McNamara, of Wausau, Wisconsin, Thomas (Richelle) Krueger, of Grand Rapids, Richard (Brenda) Krueger, of Niles, and Joseph (Jennifer) Krueger, of Buchanan, 20 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother, Joseph (Chris) Sarna, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine, sister, Joanne Sarna, and husband, Robert Krueger.
