Lois Jean Walton, 85, of Mishawaka, went to be with the Lord at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka, following an illness.

She was born in Edwardsburg, on Jan. 18, 1933, to Henry and Mildred Boepple who both preceded her in death along with a daughter, Sheri (Greg) Price and a sister-in-law, Nellie Berry. As Lois Jean Boepple, she married Leonard Warren Walton from Hamilton, Mississippi, on Nov. 6, 1953. He died in 1989.

Lois was the Accountant and Co-Owner of McKinley Frame and Front End Center in Mishawaka along with her husband. She was a lifetime Girl Scout and was a member of the Red Hat Society and Sunnyside Presbyterian Church of South bend.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Evans, of Clearwater, Florida, Patricia (Richard) Penzenik and Susan Walton, both of South Bend. Five grandchildren: Melanie Pinter, Andrew Pinter, Julia Harsch, Douglas Penzenik and Katherine Obert. Two great-grandchildren: Adalynn Harsch and Olivia Jean Harsch. Two brothers: Richard Boepple and Robert (Judy) Boepple Sr., both of Edwardsburg, and a sister, Arlene Hunt, of Mishawaka.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka.

Burial will be at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at: NPCF, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, Co. 80502.
