Jerrold Lee “Chick” Swanson, of Pulaski, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at his residence.
He was born in Niles, on Jan. 28, 1946, and was 72 years old.

Jerrold was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren. He loved bowling, fishing, and was a welder by trade.
Visitation only was from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 13, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Swanson along with his parents, Wayne Frances and Eva Marie Leak Swanson. He is survived by his, brother, Frances (Mary) Swanson, of Madison, Wisconsin, daughter, Claudean (Bill) Mankin, of Bosie, Idaho, son, Phillip Sweeney Swanson, of Cassopolis, daughter, Janice (Tracy) Smith, of Vandalia, daughter, Christina Payne, of Niles, daughter, Jennifer (Frank) Lamanski, of Niles, daughter Flossi (Michael) Pease, of Niles, daughter, Jerrie Swanson, of Pulaski, Tennessee, grandchildren, Zackary, Elliott, Darron, Jerrod, Cordell, Katie, Reymond, Phillip, Andrew, Allyssa, Sean, and Kyle. Great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Diane, and Jaxon. Bennett-May-Giles County funeral home in charge of arrangements for Jerrold Lee Swanson.
