CASSOPOLIS — Leslie Vargo and Heidi Powell of Cass County Council on Aging hosted a Holiday Gift Jar Mixes class on Tuesday. Vargo is in charge of lifelong learning at the COA. Powell is in charge of community development, and helps organizes classes and fundraisers there as well. Many people came out to put together two jars: One was a soup jar and the other was an M&M cookie jar. Recipes were listed at the end of the tables for people to put their jars together correctly.
