Mary L. Wymer, 94, of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at the Cass County Medical Facility in Cassopolis.

Mary L. Wymer
Mary was born on July 1, 1924, in Marion, Michigan, to Christopher and Louisa (Bigford) Forbes. She married her first husband, Henry Dale Iler who passed away in 1945, while serving his country in WWII.
On July 14, 1946, she married James A. Wymer in Evart, Michigan.
In her later years, Mary enjoyed playing bingo and doing word searches. She loved gardening and serving her Lord and Savior. Most of all she loved her family and would always put them first.
Mary is survived by her children, Sheila Qualls, of Flagstaff, Sherry Hyink, of Dowagiac, and James A. Wymer Jr., of Dowagiac; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Dale Iler; second husband, James A. Wymer; son Gary Wymer; grandchildren, Nathan Thomas Hall and Carol Jeanette Embury Peace; great-grandchildren Jeanette Rench and Jennifer Toohey, and siblings, Romilda Stocker, William Forbes, Louis Forbes, Allen Forbes and Stanley Forbes.
