SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN — United Way of Southwest Michigan is launching its third annual Bid United online auction. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, and close at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. United Way’s goal is to eclipse $5,000.

Items have been donated by community businesses and individuals, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit United Way of Southwest Michigan. Auction items include Fluff N’ Suds gift cards, a Boulevard & Bistro dinner and overnight stay package, a North Pier Brewing Company beer-brewing experience, KitchenAid and Whirlpool small kitchen appliances and much more.

“This online auction would not be possible without the generosity and support from so many incredible businesses and people around our community,” said Ryan Cheevers, marketing and communications manager with United Way of Southwest Michigan. “When we say there is something for everyone, we mean there is something for everyone. It’s a great opportunity to score great deals on some cool items.”

For families with children, an “Experience St. Joseph” package is available, which includes two $10 Curious Kids’ Museum gift cards, 20 tokens for the Silver Beach Carousel, a $25 gift card to The Toy Company, and a $25 gift card to Kilwins. The starting bid for this experience is only $35.

There are similar experiences in Coloma, Stevensville, Buchanan, Benton Harbor, and Dowagiac.
