Mildred Murray, 83, was called home on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, to be with her heavenly father.

Mildred was born in Fenchcamp, Mississippi, on July 7, 1935, to Earlie and Lucille (Thompson) Murff.

On Oct. 14, 1950, Mildred married Henry Murray at a ceremony in Louisville, Mississippi.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 68 years, Henry Murray; son, Larry (Eunice) Murray, of Cassopolis; daughter, Roxsan Murray, of Dowagiac; sister, Margaret Edwards, of Dowagiac; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earlie and Lucille; son, Charles Murray.

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at Second Baptist Church, 203 Paul St., Dowagiac, MI 49047. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Funeral will follow immediately after at noon.
