10:30 a.m. — Storytime

Storytime at the Dowagiac District Library follows the ‘Every Child Ready to Read’ model, which encourages children to read, write, talk, sing, and play. Each storytime features a book or two, a hands-on project or learning activity, and a light snack. Letters, numbers, shapes and colors “of the day” are often incorporated into the theme. Designed for ages toddler to 5 years old.

5 to 6 p.m. — Bingo for kids and teens

Children and teens are welcome at this retro event. Prizes will be awarded to winners
