Laura Mae York, 71, of Niles, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at her home.

She was born Jan. 28, 1947, in San Diego, California, to the late James and Mae Shipley.

On June 4, 1966, Laura married David York at a ceremony in Niles. She was a member of Real Life Church, Niles.

Laura is survived by her husband of 52 years, David; son, Brad (Sandi) York; daughter, Vikki York; grandchildren, Zachory York, Callie York, Ben York, Hanna York, Gatlin York, and Kristen York Houck.

Funeral service for Laura will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Hoven Funeral Home Inc.
