Janice E. Kelly, 90, of Dowagiac, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at South Haven Nursing and Rehab Facility.

Janice was born on Dec. 26, 1928, in Detroit, to Claude and Reva (Fink) Taylor. She was a graduate of Redford High School and went on to attend Western Michigan University and receive her teaching certificate. Janice was a self-employed oil painter for 22 years.

On May 6, 1967, she married George Kelly in Sister Lakes. She was a member of the Dowagiac Art Guild, the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters and the Wabigon Gardeners Group.

Janice is survived by her children Tom (Trudy) Miller, of Dowagiac, and David Miller, of Montana; step-children, Tom Kelly, George Kelly and Bill Kelly and grandchildren, Jason, Joey Loren and Alex.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son Jack Miller.
