Veronica Renee Pockrandt, 36, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at Center for Hospice in Elkhart.

She was born June 25, 1982, in Kalamazoo, to Deana Bunn and Perry Carlisle. Veronica graduated from Niles High School Class of 2001. Veronica was a proud domestic engineer for Robert & Sons. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to go out and spend time in the boat fishing. She enjoyed watching her boys play baseball while crocheting, especially her hats and scarfs, and baby sweaters. Veronica was an avid volunteer in the schools and community with Apple Festival and Berrien County Youth Fair.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Robert Allen Pockrandt; and their four boys, Alex, Bradley, Caiden, Dakoda Pockrandt; father, Perry Carlisle; mother, Deana Bunn; stepfather, Brian (Shelly) Burwell; sister, Kaycie (Jason) Campbell; brother, Matthew (Maddie) Burwell; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life (Home-going) will be held by the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at Michiana Christian Embassy, 1922 E. Main St., Niles, MI 49120, with Pastor Greg Rensberry of Mapleview Free Methodist, of Niles, officiating. There will Spaghetti Dinner Fund following the celebration at 4 p.m. at Fairland Christian Church, 1811 Riverbluff Road, Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home Inc., Buchanan.
