Eddies avoid Vicksburg upset bid

VICKSBURG — Undefeated and No. 1-ranked Edwardsburg avoided the upset bug at Vicksburg Friday night.

Edwardsburg (8-0) will be looking for its fourth undefeated season since 2013 when it travels to Sturgis for the regular season finale Friday night.

Vicksburg scored first last Friday night and led Edwardsburg 14-8 in the second quarter before the Eddies took command of the game.

Edwardsburg outscored the Bulldogs 30-8 from that point on to remain undefeated.
