Josephine Irene Rohl, 78, died on Oct.14, 2018 in Niles.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Viewing will be held one hour before the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles. Online condolences may be made at hovenfunerals.com.

Josephine “Jo” was born in North Liberty, Indiana, to Edward and Elsie Marie (Goodspeed) Hullinger on March 5, 1940. Josephine was one of 14 children. She married her husband, Maurice “Corky” Luther Rohl on Jan. 25, 1957, in Roseland, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Edward and Elsie; and her husband, Maurice “Corky” Rohl. Also by eight of her siblings, Edward Hullinger; James Hullinger; Byrus Ere Hullinger; Ferris Hullinger; Mary McQueen; George Hullinger; Aleetha Deverauex; and Donald Hullinger.

She is survived by her seven children, Ed (Marty) Rohl, of Niles; Floyd Rohl, of Niles; Margaret (Dave) Hopper, of Niles; Rich (Penny) Rohl, of Sturgis; Lewie (Laurie) Rohl, of Buchanan; Jim (Kim) Rohl, of Niles; Tina (Larry) Holmes, of Florida; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and five sisters, Roana Fenzau; Bessie Presnell; Bertha Heilman; Frances May Yeager; Carol Mahoney.
