LETTER: A vote for Joey Andrews

I strongly believe that my next state representative in the 79th District should be Democrat Joey Andrews.

This young person has a long list of credentials and a passion for Southwest Michigan that has led him to propose real solutions to address the issues that matter most to my family.  As an independent-minded voter, I am willing to give a chance to anyone who proposes ways of lowering healthcare and prescription costs, eliminating unfair retirement taxes and creating jobs that will make sure young people can make a life in southwest Michigan.

Joey was born and raised in St. Joseph. As a young person, he and his family were marked by the impact of the Great Recession. He saw firsthand how difficult it was for families in our area to make ends meet while balancing different costs. As a lawyer, he helped his parents navigate the financial crisis, and he went on to open his own business. Joey understands what it takes to succeed in uncertain times.

I will vote for the candidate who will ensure Southwest Michigan attracts good paying jobs, addresses our rising costs of living, and makes sure all of our communities have clean water to drink and clean air to breath. That candidate is Joey Andrews.
