Delores Jean Longbrake, 83, of Niles, Michigan, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Riveridge Nursing Home in Niles.

Delores was born February 24, 1935, in Niles, to the late Emery and Lydia (Loos) Stover.

In 1952 she married Robert Griffith, together they had two children, they later divorced. She married Richard “Dick” Longbrake in 1974 and celebrated twenty years of marriage before his passing in 1994. Delores was a devoted mother and grandmother, her fun; sassy side would often show up in her singing.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; siblings, Larry, Claudine, Vicky, and Pat.

She is survived by her children, Christine (Dennis) Kuemin of Niles and Timothy Griffith of Niles; grandchildren, Brian (Melody) Kuemin of Cassopolis, Duane Kuemin of Niles, Tony Kuemin of Niles and Timothy Griffith Jr. of Niles; five great-grandchildren, Courtney, Devin, Brittany, Alexandria and Mary; one great-great-grandchild, Noelle; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
