Thomas White, 69, of Kalamazoo, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at Kairos Dwelling Home in Kalamazoo. Thomas was born March 15, 1949, in Clarkston, Missouri, the son of Anderson and Josephine White. Thomas’ life will be celebrated by his wife Vanessa White of Kalamazoo; three children: Thomas Kelly, Savina Kelly, and Lavina (Stacy) Pulliam, all of Dowagiac; two step children: Dominique Robinson of California and Aaron (Ekudayo) Brown of Flint; five grandchildren: Willie Lee Davis, Sylina Alexander, Joshua Gentry, Alexus Brown, and Zariah Pulliam, all of Dowagiac; four sisters: Mary Lou Woods of Kalamazoo, Mary Ruth Allen of Benton Harbor, Eddie Mae Conley of Pontiac, and Shirley Miller of Grand Rapids; one brother: John Edward White; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Anderson and Josephine White; daughter Sondra Kelly; five sisters: Susie Kelly, Percoria Perkins, Mary Ann Peak, and Evelyn Moore; and brother Louis Cooke. Homecoming service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at the Second Baptist Church, 208 Paul St., Dowagiac, Tepast to follow immediately at Second Baptist Church.
