Carlis R. Brooks (Bankston), 64, of Portage, Michigan, departed this life on Aug. 23, 2018.

She was a loving and amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend.

She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends and family.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Carlis is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Brooks. She is survived by her three sons, daughter, 15 grandchildren, and four brothers. Memorial Services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at the First Church of God located at 21083 Spencer Road, Cassopolis, MI.
