Edwardsburg now 5-0 after 71-6 win over Rams

EDWARDSBURG — Midway through the 2018 regular season, the Edwardsburg football team is 5-0 and has outscored its opponents 299-13.
Visiting South Haven was the latest victim of the Eddies’ powerful offense and stingy defense.
Edwardsburg routed the Rams 71-6 last Friday night.
Caden Goggins scored a pair of touchdowns for the Eddies on runs of 49 and 22 yards.
Six other Edwardsburg players found the end zone.
Isaiah Miller scored on a 66-yard run, Chase Sager scored on a five-yard run, Tre Harvey scored on a two-yard run, Mac Gaideski scored on a 14-yard run, Cayden Calhoun scored on a three-yard run and Parker Szlanfucht scored on a 15-yard run.
Dyan Morley capped the scoring with a 37-yard field goal.
Edwardsburg volleyball
The Edwardsburg volleyball team improved to 17-3 with a sweep of visiting Buchanan in non-conference play Monday night.
The Eddies defeated the Bucks 25-10, 25-10 and 25-13.
Skye Leach led the Eddies with 10 kills, eight digs and four aces, while Anna Hull had nine kills and three blocks.
Jocelyn Hack finished with seven digs and a pair of blocks.
Claire Alby had 33 assists, six digs, two kills and six aces.
