Lakeshore High School will host “The Magic of Stuart MacDonald,” at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11, at the high school auditorium, 5771 Cleveland Ave, Stevensville. The event’s proceeds will benefit the United Way of Southwest Michigan.

Stuart MacDonald, a magician, has received a long list of awards and accolades for his performances. He is a five-time award-winner at the Society of American Magicians and The International Brotherhood of Magicians Combined Convention and is currently ranked the number one competitive magician in all of North America. MacDonald’s magic shows have taken him all over the world, but he takes time to give back to the local community.

MacDonald is not a typical “pick a card, any card” magician. His shows aim to be more theater with a magic twist.
