Primary elections are important

There are times in politics when the primary election can be as important as the general election.

The Democratic Primary for a Cass County commissioner’s seat between Clark Cobb and Minnie Warren is one of those primaries.  Many voters don’t realize that Warren once ran as a Republican.  Now she is running as a Democrat.  In my opinion, that is self-serving and makes Warren a flip flopper.  We need consistent leadership from our commissioners.  That’s why I am voting for Clark Cobb.  Clark is a steady, consistent and fair leader for the city of Dowagiac and Pokagon Township.  Clark has strong fiscal values, works for his constituents and participates in his community.  Plus, Clark supports saving the historic courthouse.  Clark works hard as our representative as a Cass County Commissioner and we need his voice on that board.  Please vote for Clark Cobb on Aug. 7.
