NILES — The second annual Run for Kids’ Safe, sponsored by the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass counties, will be July 14.

The chip-timed run and walk course will be along the scenic out and back trail of the Indiana-Michigan River Valley Trail near the St. Joseph River.

The overall male and female winners in both the run and walk divisions will receive special awards.

Medals will be awarded to age group winners in both run and walk divisions.

Onsite registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. July 14. The race is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
