Jillian Elizabeth Torbet, of Dowagiac, will celebrate her 11th birthday on Monday, June 25.

She is the daughter of James and Jennie Torbet, of Dowagiac. She has one sister, Sara Jane, 13. Jillian is the granddaughter of Sue Wilder, of Dowagiac; Judy Torbet of Elkhart, Indiana, Larry Torbet of Jackson, and Sherry Byrd, of Decatur. Jillian’s great-grandparents are Jennie Torbet, of Milford, Illinois and Sherry Perkins, of Richland.

Jillian recently completed her elementary schooling at Patrick Hamilton Elementary School and is looking forward to her new adventures in learning at Dowagiac Middle School.  She also enjoys playing soccer with the Dowagiac Youth Soccer League.
