BUCHANAN — The Buchanan softball team swept a pair of one-run games from visiting Parchment in BCS Athletic Conference play Tuesday.

The Bucks defeated the Panthers 3-2 and 4-3 to improve to 15-7 on the season.

Morgan Lenox went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead Buchanan offensively in the opening game.

Brooklyn Krumrie had a pair of hits, including a double, while Megan Adkerson also finished with a double.

Ericka Donathen pitched all seven innings to pick up the victory. She allowed two runs on five hits with four strikeouts and no walks.

In the nightcap, Buchanan scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth to rally for the victory.

Lenox was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Abby Hickok had two hits.

Donathen doubled for the Bucks.

Chloe Spitz pitched the eighth inning to earn the victory.
