Marian M. White, 70, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Grace Healthcare in Three Rivers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, with Pastor Randy Pearman officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Marian was born on Dec. 18, 1947, in Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Katie (Martin) Wise. On May 17, 1975, she married William White, Jr. in Dowagiac. Marian worked as a Dietary Manager at the Dowagiac Nursing Home for many years before retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking in her spare time. Most of all she loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Eddie) Cameron of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; son, Jamie (Jayne) White of Dowagiac; grandchildren, Myah Jayne, Jacob Schau and James Thaddeus; siblings, Merle (Elsie) Wise, Mary Catherine (David Lamar) Hurst, Aaron (Beulah) Wise, Susan Wise and Jacob (Margaret) Wise; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Wise and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William White, Jr. and brother Lester Wise.
