Sharon Hoffman was born Aug. 10, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed away peacefully on April 10, 2018, at 73 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence (Larry) Richard Hoffman; loving grandmother, Nellie Newman; infant daughter, Wendy Lee Hoffman; parents, Charles and Verne King; brother, Thomas (Tommy) King and sister, Patricia (Pat) King.
She is survived by her brother, Brian King; four children, Allen Daniels (Mary), Stacey Duncan (David), Richard Hoffman (Helen), and Dawn Wright (Jonathan); and, nine grandchildren.
She was raised in Michigan and especially loved and longed for Buchanan. She married and started a family in Cassopolis until relocating to Arizona for the remainder of her life. The couple launched an estate sale business that provided much satisfaction, until her husband’s death in 2000.
Her passions included cooking, writing and painting. She was especially proud of being a published author. She was known for boldly sharing her viewpoint and for generously advocating for those in need. She requested no services or flowers.
