The Niles Service League (right) hosted its annual Color Fun Run event Saturday at the Brandywine High School cross country trail. More than 150 attendees were treated to a Zumba warmup by YMCA instructors before running the 5K course through clouds of color to benefit local youth.

Below, winners of this year’s race were faither-daughter team Jim and Maddie Lister, and Angelika Anderson, all from Niles. Niles Service League raised more than $4,000 with this year’s run.

Money that will be used in the Niles-Brandywine-Buchanan school districts to fund some of their programs, including scholarships, camperships, school liaison programs and Christmas families. (Leader photos/ANGIE MARCINIAK)
