Powerlifters qualified for state meet

EDWARDSBURG — Two varsity and five JV powerlifters from Dowagiac qualified for the state meet at Lake Orion High School, which was March 10.
Dowagiac’s Kade Schreiber and Gabe Aranda both finished second in the varsity division to qualify for the state meet during the Edwardsburg Regional Power Lifting Competition Feb. 10.
Ryan Roach took first-place in the JV division to advance to the state, while Lavarius Davis, Nate Davis, Kylee Cromer and Mona Aranda were all runners-up and have also qualified for the state meet.
