Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve to host invasive plant species

NILES — Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve will host an invasive plant species workshop to discuss local invaders.

The workshop will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at 13988 Rangeline Road, Niles. Discussion will include the identification and management of some of the most troublesome yard invaders, including Japanese Knotweed and honeysuckle.

Cost: Fernwood members $8, non-members $10
