Upcoming events at the Edwardsburg Branch Library

EDWARDSBURG — There are two upcoming events at the Edwardsburg Branch Library.

The first is a chance to see local author, Colin Knapp, speak and read excerpts from his writing at the Cass District Library Edwardsburg Branch. The author visit will take place at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, March 6. Light refreshments will be provided. This program is free and open to the public.

Colin Knapp’s career is multifaceted. After serving in the Navy for five years, he spent time acting in film and television and later ran a small farm for a few years. He has spent time writing over the years and has since dedicated more time to writing prose and poetry. Colin has written a variety of short stories and novellas and is currently working on a third poetry collection set to release in 2018.

The next event is a celebration of National Pi Day with a party to be hosted at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, March 14. The evening will be filled with math challenges and activities. The library will also serve pizza. Registration is required to prepare adequate materials. This event is recommended for students in third grade and up. Families are welcome to attend together.
