Thomas Robert Norris Jr., 67, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, in the comfort of his wife’s presence in his residence.
He was born Feb. 6, 1951, in Albany, New York, the oldest child born to Thomas and Norma (Longo) Norris, Sr. He married Karen Sue Pollard April 17, 1977, in Glendale Heights, Illinois. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lynn Luke.

Thomas will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Karen Norris of Cassopolis; sisters, Lisa Norris of Selkirk, New York, Robin (Vinnie) Principatio of Voorheesville, New York; brothers, Christopher Longo of Virginia, Mark Longo of Albany New York; step father, Carmelo Longo of Onchiota, New York; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and a huge extended family in the Adirondacks.
Family and friends will gather at the family residence on a date and at a time to be announced in the spring. Mr. Norris’ remains will be scattered in the Adirondack Mountains that he loved so well.
The family prefers contributions be made in Thomas’ memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959.
