Cathy Mae Hibschman, 64, of Buchanan, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Cathy was born April 19, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Merle and Alice Bronson. On Dec. 26, 1970, she married Phil Hibschman. Cathy loved her flower gardens and birds. Her family was very important to her.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Phil; children, Tricia (David) Guandola of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Michele (Shannon) Hall of Elkhart, Indiana, Nathan (Sarah) Hibschman of South Bend, Indiana; siblings, Linda Breland of Bruce Crossing, Michigan, David Bronson of Niles, Nancy Blank of Buchanan; grandchildren, Tyler Fletcher, Alyssa Beckwith, Isabella Guandola, Savannah Guadnola, Sierra Guadnola; and three great-grandchildren.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Alice; sisters, Jeanette Edwards, and Sandra Jean Bronson.
Visitation for Cathy will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Hoven Funeral Home Inc, Buchanan. Memorial Service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1733 W. Glendora, Buchanan, with Rev. Jonathan Liebich officiating.
